On June 7, 2018, a Ground Breaking Ceremony took place in St. Peter, Minnesota at the construction site of the new Best Western Plus. This hotel will feature 60 guest rooms, a pool, meeting room, hot breakfast served daily, and many other fine amenities. During Mayor Zieman's speech at the event, he thanked Makenda Development for their investment in the City of St. Peter. Birch Lake Hospitality welcomes the Best Western Plus of St. Peter to their portfolio. The hotel is scheduled to open early 2019.
